What is CPR?

Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is a lifesaving procedure performed during emergencies, such as when a person’s heart stops, if the person stops breathing and is unresponsive, or when the person does not have a pulse. Immediate CPR can provide the best odds of survival. By keeping the blood flow active, the success for resuscitation is higher once a trained medical staff arrives. Cardiac arrest can happen not only to older adults but also children, and there is no telling when and where it will happen. CPR can be learned by anyone of any age, including children. Having this skill can save a life. We have certified and professional instructors who will train and prepare participants to perform CPR. Our CPR classes are recommended for:

Heartsaver CPR/AED

If you have limited or no medical training but needs a course completion card in CPR/AED for certain requirements, this course is for you. We will equip you with the skills to perform CPR and the proper use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED). Those who want to learn for their own benefit are welcome to enroll as well.

The course will include:

Estimated Length: 2 hours with everything, or about 2 hours without infant CPR

Heartsaver First Aid

This course is also designed for participants with limited or no medical training or those who want to learn for their own benefit. We will train you how to properly perform the first aid basics, such as how to call for help, how to perform lifesaving skills, scene safety, and how to recognize the medical and injury emergencies like choking, stroke, heart attack, bleeding, burns, broken bones, and more.

The course will include:

Combination Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid

This course will train participants to properly and safely perform first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED). Throughout the training, participants will also be taught how to recognize medical and injury emergencies such as choking, heart attack, stroke, bleeding, broken bones, burns, and more.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

Do you work in the healthcare industry, or are you a healthcare provider? Then, this course is for you. BLS for Healthcare Providers will train participants to be able to promptly recognize life-threatening emergencies, deliver appropriate chest compressions, ventilations, and the correct use of AED, as well as other basic cardiovascular life support skills.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers – Online (With Skills Check)

Our BLS online course is approved by the American Heart Association. This course is recommended for MDs, RNs, EMTs, Paramedics, CNAs, LPNs, Dentists, and Medical Personnel who can’t attend in-person training or have busy schedules.

This course will be a 3-part class:

1: Complete the online American Heart Association course.

2: Complete a scheduled hands-on skills session.

3: Receive your AHA BLS Provider certification.

Cost: $80 per student

This course is non-refundable. The AHA does not return or take back an online course upon issuance.
